Acting

In the Beginning Acting one week session for 3rd-6th graders, the campers will gain hands on experience in the theater through writing their own bios for the program, memorizing their lines, and learning to project their voices. In improv games and show rehearsal each day, they will gain a greater appreciation for the role of the ensemble and get comfortable on the stage.
The 2019 production was an original, historical play by Kiley Hatch about Nellie Bly, the female journalist who traveled around the world.

Building off of the fundamentals introduced in the "Beginning Acting," the Acting Intensive for actors in grades 6-9 offers more intense and individualized acting training and experience through workshops and the preparation of an original play. This intensive will have its inaugural session in 2021.

Registration for these programs will open in March of 2021.
